After being abandoned by her first family and surrendered by her second, she’s praying that the third time’s a charm. This stunning senior girl is searching for a special home with a cat-savvy adopter who can appreciate her unique personality and offer her the patience and love she deserves.

Despite her complicated past, Bennie is a sensitive and intelligent cat who is curious about her world. She’s an observer by nature and finds joy in hanging out with her people, watching what’s happening, or relaxing in front of a window to watch the birds outside. Bennie has a low energy level and prefers simple pleasures, such as basking in a patch of sunshine.

Regarding affection, Bennie’s ideal home would understand that while she is up for short lap cuddles, she prefers to simply hang out nearby. She will follow you around and brush up against you, but she still might not be in the mood for pets.  She shows affection with raspy chirps and meows.

Bennie has experienced a lot of change, so she needs a patient and consistent environment to feel secure. She is a bit selective with her human friends, bonding more quickly with some than others. Her perfect match would be someone who values the quiet companionship of a cat wanting to be near you but not always on you.

Bennie is very reactive to other cats and needs to be the only feline in the home. She takes daily medication in her food without any fuss, and her adopter will need to keep this up to ensure her well-being.
