Please note, applicants MUST reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT and have reliable transportation. Some cats may be restricted to a smaller radius on a case by case basis.
Levi, 2 years old, Male
FEATURED FELINE
Meet Levi, a remarkable survivor needing a loving foster or forever home! Levi's journey hasn't been easy; he was brought to us physically abused and painfully thin. Despite his past, Levi emerged as a resilient, fun-loving, and affectionate boy eager to share his love with someone special. Levi thrives on human interaction, from gentle pets to spirited playtime—he adores it all! However, living in a cage surrounded by other cats for the past six months is frustrating him. He is so ready for the comfort and warmth of a home environment without any other felines.
Levi tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he is healthy, and his expected lifespan is as bright as any other cat with proper care and love. We are looking for a loving foster-to-adopt home for this sweet boy.

Alfred
Meet Alfred, our wonderful, resilient street survivor, ready for his forever home!
Our big, beautiful boy, Alfred, came to us from one of our feeding stations about a year ago. He seemed to be an old, stiff street cat worn down by life outdoors, and with winter setting in, we brought him inside. But when our vet examined him, we learned he was much younger than he looked; it was only his injured, shattered paw and gimpy hip damaged in some unknown trauma that made Alfred seem so ancient.
One year later, Alfred has absolutely blossomed in foster care. This 4-year-old boy has healed well enough to be a happy and mellow purring machine craving attention and companionship. Pat the couch next to you; he’ll be by your side in a flash. Hold up a brush, and he’ll take the lead, rubbing his chin against it, almost grooming himself!
Like many former tomcats biologically forced to fight for territory and love, Alfred tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). But Alfred will live a normal life if given the love and care all cats deserve. What's most important about our Alfred is he’s a big, handsome, and soulful boy looking for a family to cuddle with.

Atlantic and Amur
Meet Atlantic & Amur — Sweet, Special, and Ready to Love! Atlantic (a tuxedo beauty with stylish go-go boots) and Amur (a striking white kitty with bold inkblot patches) are a bonded sibling pair who’ve come a long way from their rough start on the streets. While they’re still working on their confidence, both have blossomed in foster care and reveal their cuddly, curious sides more each day.
Amur is the more outgoing of the two — a sweet, adventurous little guy with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. CH isn’t painful, and it is not progressive, and in Amur’s mild case, it certainly doesn’t stop him from exploring, playing, and zipping around like any other kitten. He loves cozy hiding spots like cat caves, drawers, and carriers, but mostly, he adores laps and head rubs. He’s also a legendary cookie thief — this boy would topple empires for a treat!
The beautiful Atlantic is more cautious and startles easily, but don’t be fooled — she enjoys treats, affection, and playtime just as much. Once she’s comfy, you’ll find her lounging in your laundry, napping at your feet or on your lap, or sneaking up for a neck or chin scratch (purring included). She’s wonderfully gentle with Amur — often letting him win their playful wrestling matches. She is the best sister!
These two are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. A quiet, patient forever home would help them continue to gain confidence and show off their full personalities.

Casper and Patches
Meet Casper & Patches – The Purrfect Duo! Casper and Patches are bonded brothers rescued with their mom and two siblings after being found in a backyard. We suspect they were dumped, but they’re now safe and ready for a loving forever home! Casper has more white between his eyes, while Patches sports more black.
These boys are incredibly gentle, snuggly, and happy. They love playing with people but are also great at entertaining themselves—wrestling, chasing toys, or curling up together for a nap. Both are easy to pick up and carry, and they especially enjoy lap time, rearranging themselves until everyone is cozy.
They’ve met the dogs in their foster home and find them interesting. While cautious, they aren’t afraid.

Say hello to our possibly five year old fabulous feline, Fannie. All we knew about this charming, pretty girl when we first met her was that she'd belonged to someone once, and when that person moved, they left this bewildered, beautiful cat behind. After two long years of practicing a zen-like stoicism through harsh elements, scary humans, and scarce food, Fannie finally found a friend in FOF, and FOF found Fannie a foster home.
Fannie's a calm and clever girl who thinks things through. She's not clingy - she has boundaries and she understands you do, too! - but she is affectionate and loving. She may not need to be on you but she will want to be with you.

When we rescued Iris and her kittens, she was a doting but weary mom, thin, sick, and in rough shape. But after a month of TLC, Iris is healthy, more beautiful than ever, and ready for her forever home.
Iris is a calm, gentle, independent soul with a quiet grace. She enjoys exploring, playing in a cat tower, chasing a wand toy, and partaking in an occasional bit of catnip. She’s not a kitty who rushes into things—she likes to take things slow, building trust at her own pace. When she’s in a safe space, she enjoys pets and headbutts. With her affectionate side starting to shine, Iris is a cat who will melt your heart a little more each day as she learns to feel safe and loved.
